Developing
Moral Strengths, Skills and Co-Operation
Our
Philosophy for physical education is that all
children should be able to experience enjoyment
and achieve success at their appropriate level. We
encourage our pupils to strive for the best in a
disciplined and sporting manner, developing
physical skills, moral strengths and leadership
qualities.
The
curriculum for PE is based on the British school
system with pupils having access to specialist
physical education teaching from the age of four,
and swimming coaching from the age of three.
The
school grounds have extensive sports fields with
facilities for all major sports, as well as
squash, tennis, basketball and netball courts.
Six
core activities are covered during curriculum
time: Games, Swimming, Athletics, Gymnastics,
Dance and outdoor Education. Games activities
cover the following sports: Cricket, Basketball,
Badminton, Water Polo, Football, Tennis, Rugby,
Volleyball, Water-Volleyball, Netball, Rounders,
Water-Basketball, Hockey, Squash and Table-tennis.
