Last year saw the introduction of the student-led school newspaper. The aims of such a venture are manifold: to give students the opportunity to develop their journalistic and publishing skills; to enable students to value commitment, time-management and thoroughness; to allow the students to voice their opinions and to encourage students to be creative and independent. The first two issues have certainly achieved these aims and we hope future editions will maintain the high standards set so far. The articles have covered a range of issues and objectives. Here are some of the topics that have been covered so far: - Reviews of school events
- Student problems solved by the Agony Aunt
- Interviews with staff
- Discussion of current affairs
- A look into the world of entertainment
- Jokes and puzzles
Congratulations to all editors, designers and contributors to the school newspaper!
